My score indicates that I need to work on... ~ Prepositions, Adverbs, Subjects, Predicates, Direct Objects, Verb Phrases, Subordinating Conjunctions, Dependent Clauses, and Complex Sentences. 3. What strategies in the future might you use to increase your score? ~ Prepositions are only if there is not a subject or predicate. Adverbs describe verbs. Complex sentences mean that there are one independent clause and one or more dependent clauses. A subject is the noun or pronoun in the sentence. Predicates always have to be a verb. Direct objects receive the action. Verb Phrases are made up of two or more verbs. Dependent clauses have to have a subordinating conjunction. 4. Identify three specific things that you have learned regarding grammar. ~ I have learned that articles are always A, The, and An. I learned that Action Verbs are always express physical or mental actions. I have also learned that subordinating conjunctions flag a dependent clause.

My score indicates that I have a good understanding of... ~Articles, Preposition, Nouns, Action Verbs, Linking Verbs, Helping Verbs, Pronouns, Coordinating Conjunctions, Subordinating Conjunctions, Subject and Predicates, Predicates, Verb Phrases, Compound-Complex, Compound, Simple sentence types, and all four moods, Independent and Dependent clauses.
2. My score indicates that I need to work on... ~ Adverbs, PA/PN, Direct objects, Adjectives, Infinitive, Gerund, Participial, and Appositive phrases.
3. What strategies in the future might you use to increase your score? ~Adverbs describe verbs. Adjectives are in the packet. Direct objects receive the impact of your verb. PA/PN appears with linking verbs. Infinitives begin with an infinitive and end with a noun. Gerunds are ing words and it is a verb working a noun. Participial end in ing or is working as an adjective. Appositives are set off with commas and are extra information.
4. Identify at least two areas where you have improved since first semester. ~ I have improved my dependent clauses sense last semester. I have also improved on my subjects and predicates throughout the year.
